It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year – summer doubles time!

Doubles at Cedar Hills starts Tuesday May 1 and runs every Tuesday through the end of August. Cost is 3 dollars to enter with a 2 dollar optional ace pool. Sign up begins at 5:30 and ends at 5:55 with a tee time of 6:00.

All skill levels are welcome and teams are picked based on skill level.

Points will be tracked all summer and a trophy will be awarded at the end of the season for the highest finisher in all 4 divisons (pro, advanced, amatuer, women).

Women are strongly encouraged to attend and have the option of choosing a partner of thier choice.

Get the details and sign up now for the King’s Cup II, May 19-20th at Kinston’s Barnet Park course. This year’s event is a PDGA-sanctioned C-Tier tournament and an NC Points Series venue. Earth Day was this past Saturday and RADL celebrated with an Earth Day themed monthly. Along with a regular tournament full of prizes from RADL, there was another contest. All golfers were given a trash bag to walk the course and collect trash, staying in the theme of Earth Day. While this is always a good thing to do on your home course, it seemed even more appropriate on this day.

Sean Horn collected three bag fulls of trash to win the prize for most collected. All in all, about 10 bags of trash from the course was collected on the day.

Come throw a disc and help the earth!

 With Earth Day on April 22nd, RADL will keep the Earth Day theme for it’s April Monthly. 2 rounds at Cedar Hills with prizes for the lowest rounds and most trash picked up during the day.

Registration closes at 9:30 and tee time is 10 AM. 10 dollars for pros and 5 dollars for all am divisions.

Come out for a great day of golf and a great day for the earth!
