Well there is a new leader at the top, but it is still a tight race. Robbie D and Kitz team up to Win on the last day of the year, with Scott R and Robby C taking second in a playoff. The ace pool its at $75. Next week is the monthly so no dubs. Points are updated through Dec 31.
Yeah so 12 people showed up for a wonderful day of late fall disc golf. Robbie D and Matt G took first with a 17 down on a short/short layout. Jack B and Johnny B captured second with a 15 down. League scores are up and no one is to far out in front. Lots of disc golf yet to be played, so come on out and get some points.
Points are updated through Dec 10th. Ace pool is at $42.
Thanks to all the players and volunteers who made the 2011 Forest Hills Open such a success. Working with the homeowners association, coordinating with the parks and rec, grooming the park, setting up holes, laying about a mile of OB twine with flags, marking the course tees, setting out the temporary baskets 3! times and taking it down each time, donating the use of baskets, loading and reloading baskets into trucks and cars, purchasing new plastic, filling the excel sheet, keeping up with the entry fees, sanctioning the tournament, checking in players, setting up leader cards, donating for tee signs, making the tee signs, placing the tee signs, tallying scores, posting scores, getting trophies, presenting trophies and payout, managing the store for payout, cleaning up the park, getting results on pdga site, getting fees paid to pdga, but mostly for showing that BULL CITY DISC CLUB pulls together for disc golf, it’s members and the city of Durham. As Adam always says: makin’ it happen.
Next monthly: cross town, Cornwallis @ 10am 12/3/11; Valley Springs to follow after lunch.
Ace Pool starting @ $105.

BCDC - we are live. Registration is open for the Forest Hills B-tier(Thanks Tony Ivey!) on Nov 19-20th, the weekend before Thanksgiving. Check out the PDGA link above for more details.
Contact Gill if you want to get registered, volunteer time, sponsor a hole, or help with setup and take down. Checks are to be made out to Jack B. Cash can go to either of us.
Make it happen!
At Corny Goodwin is starting to pull away but still feeling the heat from several contenders a couple of wins out of the top spot.
Valley standings are tight with Scott R holding a one-win away lead over second and third place. Check out the scores in the updated spreadsheets.
While there, click on the “league scoring” tab to see how a proposed point tally tracks all players points each week, rather than just those who score first or second. We’ll be voting on this scoring alteration in the coming weeks, so make sure to get your voice heard!
