Robby D and Maddan take first in a play-off against Chad G and Don M.  Both groups shot 15 down on a long short lay out.  It was a hot evening and the ace pool weighs heavy on everyone’s mind.  Come on out and take a shot at that elusive ace too.

This Tuesday saw another large group of disc golfers out on the course, and at the end of a long-long round, which nobody appreciated, there was a four way tie.  Chad G and Scott R won it on hole 5 after a very nice drive by Scott and a nice putt by Chad.  Second was taken by Matt S and Dan Jr.  The points are updated and the ace pool survives till next week.  See ya’ next week.

That’s right the points are updated and Chad G. does have a lead that big.  This week saw a record number of disc golfers playing (36).   It also saw three teams shoot 17 down on a short-short layout.  Scott R and Mike H took first with Terry G and Robbie D taking second.  Ace pool still in effect.

Thanks to all the BCDC members who have donated their monthly fees and time for putting 6 brand new baskets in at Glenn Elementary School.  It is open fielded and with some interesting holes to work that arm out. It was funded by Innova’s Edge program and Mary (teacher @ Glenn) and Bull City Disc Club.

Special thanks to Jack, Ed, Matt, Keith, Dennis, Adam, Mike P., Chad, Robby C., and Andy for their work and time.  Hope I didn’t forget anybody. (if so blame it on a fading memory)

BCDC an asset to disc golf and Durham, NC.  Way to go!  The club that gives back to the community and the sport.

Need weekday volunteers to instruct the kids in disc golf.  The school grounds are closed during school hours due to security reasons.

Goodwin looks to be making a push to beat Mike K.’s all time record. Look’s like a four-peat may be in jeopardy for Hillville.

Also of note is that the ace pot is at $124 and you can be assured will top $150 by the time we play on Tuesday.

Valley ace pot is at $0 as Keith hit short 10 and took home the whopping $24 bones. He has Goodwin to thank for the tiny pot. Standings as of May 6 are as follows:
