For the past several weekends myself and a core group of volunteers have been working on cutting in 4 new holes at Swingin’ DBs. These holes, when completed will add some new variety to the course and improve tournament flow dramatically. (more…)

It was a small turnout for Ramcat Ridge with only 60 people. I guess there are a lot of people that are scared of a little bit of terrain. The course (which in my opinion is one of the best on the tour) was in immaculate shape. The custom flask trophies were a wonderful plus (more…)

One last reminder about Swingin’ DBs year ending party/pig pickin Sunday. Registraition for doubles starts at 10:00 a.m. with drawing at 11:00. Pig to follow. Please bring some sides.

I’ll be camping out Saturday night and would love to have a lot of company, maybe play some glow doubles.

The Groove workday to prepare for the Homegrown will be this Saturday, September 20. We will begin to work at 9 AM and will continue until done, hopefully we will have a doubles round in the afternoon. We will also be grilling hot dogs, and serving cold beverages. We are in need of chainsaws, weed whackers, and trailers or trucks to move wood. Most of the work will be on the wood holes, clearing out limbs, downed trees, trimming, etc… I hope to have all the grass mowed on Friday.
The rumor is true, there will be a new edition of Groove Crew shirts to give out to the workers. That shirt then will give certain benefits at The Groove. (more…)
