Hello All

We have been busy and will be busy over the next couple of weeks at Swingin DBs in Moncure. A lot of trees have been removed from hole 17, thanks to all of you who have helped with the venture the course is looking better than ever.

We had a record turnout of 31 people with CTPs on 14 of 18 holes. The $1 a head CTP on hole #13 seems to be a big favorite. With the larger turnout this is enabling someone to walk home with a good chunk of change for a CTP. The points race is real tight (more…)

Random draw doubles is taking a strong hold at Swingin DBs disc golf course on Friday nights. With the $100 ace pool, prompt tee off times and an awesome atmosphere what more can you ask for. Well here you go people…the results from Sunshine Acres. P-Nut and Kenny were the big winners of the day splitting the $522 ace pool. A course record was set again with attendance of 129 people. A record crowd of 129 people came to Sunshine Daydream Acres on April 27th and contributed $516 to help maintain the course. AA did another great job with her homemade trophies and winners were proud to claim one. (more…)

One last reminder that the HGT event at Sunshine Acres is coming up this weekend in Knightdale. For those of you who have not been there before contact me by email no later than 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Because of issues with developing my easement, negotiating with a neighboring timber company and the current recession, I will not be able to have my course ready by December.
