A new shipment of Innova custom stamp HGT discs and minis arrived at Fins, Furs & Feathers yesterday and will be available at the Country Course HGT event.

Friday night doubles at Swingin DBs is still going on, we are down to 5 events left for the summer. The $100 ace pool is still in effect so come on and take your shot at taking home the big money. Registration starts at 5:30, drawing at 6:00 sharp.

I was told some very helpful info for removing ticks. Just take a cotton ball put some liquid hand soap on it. Put the cotton ball on the tick rub it around a little, and in about 20 seconds you can rub the tick right off, head and all. It’s worked every time on me since I was told. Pass on the info.

There will be a work day at the CC on Saturday 7/19 starting at 8AM. We want to clean up the woods holes.. there are a few trees down and we want to weed eat all the holes… Grass is supposed to get mowed some time this week and then again Wednesday Thursday just before the event. (more…)
Rocky Ford…Manzi’s place…the end of June…one of the longest and hottest days of the year…got the picture. Probably not…unless you were there. The spectacular layout this year was truely something special! The course had 22 holes since Dave’s neighbors graciously agreed to let him use some of their land for his tournament. There are plenty of long holes…but it is not just a “boom” course…many birdies can be had. Chuckster had us play 22, and then another 11 holes…it worked out well.
Several (6) baskets were perched on rocky bases making putting even more of an art-form. (more…)
The Jon and Barry Birthday Bash will be held at the Country Course this year instead of Sunshine Acres. This is a fun casual tournament that has been going on for many a year now. Any funds raised will be put toward a plane ticket to get “Downs” the owner of the CC home for the “Roast”.
